Introduction

This Contest will be governed by these standard terms and conditions and accompanying Contest Details (collectively the “Terms”). Each entrant agrees that he/she has read and understood these Terms and by their participation in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Terms.

The Organizers of the Contest is Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast (71 Sea World Drive, Main Beach QLD 4217) and JW Marriott Gold Coast (158 Ferny Ave, Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217) (“Organizer”) which shall be solely responsible for the execution and administration of this Contest.

Eligibility to Enter

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over that reside in QLD, NSW and VIC who have signed-up to our database, but have not yet completed the double opt-in process.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.

Promotional Period

The Promotion commences at 9:00 AEST on Monday, 27th of November, 2023 and closes at midnight AEST on Monday 11th, December, 2023.

Entry Requirements

To enter, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:

• - Complete the double opt-in process

This is a game of chance, and the winner will be selected at random.

The winning entry/s (two), as determined by the Organizers, will receive one of two prizes (Supplied as a gift voucher);

• - One night stay (for 2) at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa in an Ocean View King Guest Room with breakfast for two and complimentary self-parking – valued at $878 (Subject to availability, terms and conditions apply, blackout dates apply).
• - One night stay (for 2) at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast, in a Lagoon View King Guest Room with breakfast for two, one seafood buffet dinner experience for two and complimentary self-parking – valued at $745.00 (Subject to availability, terms and conditions apply, blackout dates apply).

Blackout dates include, but are not limited to;

• - NSW, VIC & QLD school holiday periods
• - NSW, VIC & QLD public holidays

The prize does not include airport transfers, or any additional costs incurred.

The organizer is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

The winner will be decided by The Organizer’s and will be notified by email or phone. Confirmation will also be emailed to the winner, which they must present upon arrival to the event.

Once the winner has been contacted and confirmed, the promoter will publish the name of the winner to the competition landing page for 28 days.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within seven days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The organizer’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice or in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.

By entering the Contest, each participant agrees that:

• - any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed to Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and JW Marriott Gold Coast for various purposes, including to communicate with the participant for purposes related to the Contest, to provide goods and services to the participant upon request, and such other purposes Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and JW Marriott Gold Coast may reasonably deem appropriate, or in relation to which the participant has otherwise provided Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and JW Marriott Gold Coast with consent;
• - participant agrees to receive email marketing from Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and JW Marriott Gold Coast
• - The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and JW Marriott Gold Coast publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites or social media platforms, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Contest / Lucky Draw or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and
• - The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold & JW Marriott Gold Coast without further compensation.
